In order to organize and conduct Career Guidance work with schools, teachers of the Department "Turkology and language theory" organized a meeting with high school students of Almaty, Kunaev, Taldykorgan, Kentau, Zhanaozen, Zhambyl region and Almaty regions. Meetings with schools in Almaty were held in a traditional format, and fruitful meetings with high school students from distant regions were organized in an online format. The following information was presented at the meeting:

● Position of kaznu among world universities;

● History of the faculty;

● Full familiarization with the specialties of the Department;

● Transfer of specialties of the department to society;

● Information about teaching staff, foreign experience;

● International contacts of the Department; 

● Academic mobility;

● Circles and clubs of the Department;

● Through the eyes of students;

● Place of work of graduates;

● "Q & A" heading;The students ' questions were answered and the specifics of the specialties were shown. We wish high school students to make the right choice that is vital.
