On November 24, 2018, at 14.00 in the meeting room on the 1- st floor of the Faculty of Medicine and Healthcare of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, a meeting of the scientific club "Journal Club" will be held.

An important purpose of a journal club is to awaken and strengthen the interest of students in science, critically evaluate publications in the scientific literature, and thereby help students and teachers avoid possible mistakes while writing their own articles.

Members of the Journal Club will have a rich analysis of a systematic review about the effectiveness of social networks in changing human behavior in the field of health, heated discussions about the strengths and weaknesses of a scientific article, trends and prospects for mass impact on the health of the young generation through popular social networks.

The choice of the article was justified by the adoption of the Astana Declaration at the recently held global conference dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Almaty Declaration. The Astana Declaration focused on creating services using digital technologies that were not available 40 years ago. At the meeting of the Journal Club, we will have the opportunity, together with the undergraduate of the scientific and pedagogical direction of the 2 course, Esimbekova Gulsana, to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the influence of social networks on human health.

To participate in the Journal Club are invited students, undergraduates, doctoral students and teachers of universities and universities, research fellows of research institutes. We invite everyone to participate! We will be glad to see you.
