At faculty of philosophy and political science name Treasury al-Farabi lecture of professor Petrika James from University of the State of Ohio (USA) on a theme «Gratuitous Evil and the Existence of God» has taken place.

Round table «Prospects of development of the Kazakh philosophy and culture», devoted to the 70 anniversary of the professor of Hasanovva M. Sh.

The chair of philosophy of faculty of philosophy and political science name Treasury al-Farabi in honor of the 70 anniversary of professor Hasanova Marata Shamuratovicha spends on October, 29th, 2011 at 10.00 in a hall № 412 round table on a theme «Prospects of development of the Kazakh philosophy and culture». Within the limits of a table following questions will be considered:

- The mythological bases of the Kazakh philosophy and culture;

- The Kazakh philosophy and culture for 20 years of independence of Kazakhstan (results, results and prospects);

- A role of the Kazakh philosophy and culture in development of spiritual culture of the Kazakhstan society.

Action spends the Center al-Farabi together with faculties of philosophy and political science, geography and wildlife management, history, archeology and ethnology. Farabievsky readings in such scientifically-cultural format will take place for the first time.
