History

BPH "Science and Technology Park" was created in 1994 as an independent legal entity. In 2003, Technopark was converted to BPH for PVC "Scientific and Technological Park" RSE for PVC "Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi. "

The first director of the Institute was, PhD, Associate Professor NA Golubev - Well-known Kazakh scientist biotechnology, managed by the Institute from 1994 to 1996.

Modern Trend of Research Institute received by the scientific-organizational activity A.K.Tuleshova (1996-2008); A.S.Drobysheva (2008-2010); K.K.Boguspaeva (2010-2011); N.Almasbekova (2011-2012 )

Currently director of the Institute is the candidate of geographical sciences, professor SM Bayandinova.

During the period from 1994 to the present time the institute is actively involved in various research programs:

  • 1994-1997 gg. - Coordination of environmental issues, the Academic Kazakh State University named. Al-Farabi to the competition with USAID coordinator of the University of Maryland (USA) on the project "Environment and Energy in Central Asian countries."

March 5, 2012 Mr. Kazakhstan Electricity Association and the Science and Technology Park of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University signed a memorandum of cooperation. The main objective of the memorandum is to cooperate in the development of renewable energy sources in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Under the memorandum of the Scientific and Technological Park of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi plans to science, knowledge and expertise to the Committee KEA renewable energy placed on the Committee's website KEA RES research papers on renewable energy.

The parties will be regularly inform and consult each other on the issues, organize meetings, seminars and conferences.
