During this course, students acquire knowledge on the devices for emitting and receiving radio waves in different bands, learn the basic principles of organizing directional radiation / reception of radio waves, calculate and measure the main parameters and characteristics of the antenna-feeder path. On the basis of theoretical calculations and knowledge, they design, simulate and analyze antenna models of modern wireless communication technologies using computer simulators and programs, and also create appropriate prototypes that are tested using RF and microwave measuring instruments and complexes.
