Sport life

The department teachers and staff take an active part in sport life of the department and the university.

Professor M.A. Zhusupov is a captain of chess team of the department of physics. Associate professor A.G. Murzagaliyeva is repeatedly giving victories on chess tournaments. In 2011 our chess players gained the first place at sport competition for health among professor-teaching staff of the university!

Associate professor A.A. Komarov – is a permanent captain of the department team on badminton. At the time of his guidance by the team our department traditionally takes prize places at annual winter sport competitions for health among professor-teaching staff of the university. And in 2011 the department of physics takes the 1^st place on badminton!

Associate professor N.A. Beisen and PhD student A.S. Taukenova defend the honour of the department on valleyball.

Specialist D.A. Tursynbayeva represents our department on table tennis.
