During the internship period (June 2023), with the support of the Akimat of Almaty and the well-known environmental activist Aigul Muslimova, first-year students of the educational programs "Technical Physics", "Thermal Power Engineering" and "Standardization and Certification (by industry)" visited the Green Recycle waste sorting plant ".

Students and teachers got acquainted with the work of the complex and shared their impressions.

Zhunisbayeva Ali: “The Almaty Green Recycle waste disposal complex is an important enterprise for our country. The resulting waste (glass, cardboard, paper, boxes, PET bottles, plastic, etc.) can be considered as secondary raw materials. Along with this, the operation of the complex affects the improvement of the environment.”

Bilibayeva Madina: “I think it was right to organize an excursion to the Green Recycle waste sorting plant because we saw with our own eyes how waste is sorted and pressed. In general, we received a lot of useful information.”
