About Location

SEU is located in Nanjing, China at the lower reaches of the Yangtze River (the third longest river in the world). Nanjing, an ancient capital city for 10 dynasties in history, is now the provincial capital of Jiangsu, one of the most developed provinces across China where more than 1/3 of the world’s top 500 multinational corporations have set up about 700 subsidiaries. The well-developed highway, railway and airway system makes the transportation to other parts of China and the world very convenient.

Features of the Program

The English-taught Program in International Business is structured as a two-year master’s program consisting of courses, seminars and tour studies for international students. The objective of the program is to provide the student with competence and tools to analyze, plan, and manage global business while facing different markets, business practices and political/legal, economical and cultural environments.

Part of the courses and seminars are designed to expose the student to typical issues involved in dong business in China or with Chinese firms; the tour studies provide chance for the student to see the developed and underdeveloped regions of China for his or her on-the-site investigation or study on such issue as regional development disparity.

The faculty enjoys a close partnership with the local business and governments and comprises experienced overseas visiting professors.

Annual Accommodation Fee: CNY6000-8000 [One bed in a double occupancy room]

Admission Requirements

The applicants should meet either of the following qualifications

1. A bachelor’s degree holder 2. A graduate of undergraduate programs

Language Requirements

The applicants should meet one of the following language equivalents

● Graduates from universities of English-speaking countries

● Graduates from universities where English is an official language

● TOEFL: 170 (Computer-based) or 500 (Paper-based) ● IELTS: (Academic Level): 5.5

Features of the Program

The university’s discipline of architecture takes the leading position home and abroad and keeps an increasing influence in the world. The graduates, including some prominent members of the Academy of Engineering of China and many noted experts, have contributed a lot to the development of architecture. School of Architecture, SEU (formerly National Central University and Nanjing Institute of Technology) was founded in 1927 as the origin of China’ modern architecture education. For the past 80 years, 3000 students graduated from School of Architecture, including 6 academicians of the Academy of Engineering and 10 Construction & Design Masters. 55% of the faculty in the school have doctor’s degree and 70% have the experience of studying or working abroad. School of Architecture has academic cooperation and exchanges with many countries, such as U.S.A., U.K., France, Japan, Swiss, Sweden, Netherland, Germany, Australia, Korea, Austria and Singapore, and it has close contact with international organizations including UNESCO.

Qualification:

Over 16 year’s old, high school graduate or above, healthy foreigners

Language Requirements (The applicant should meet one of the following language equivalents.):

1. Graduate from high schools of English-speaking countries or where English is an official language.

2. IELTS: (Academic Level): 5.5

3. TOEFL: 170 (Computer-based) or 500 (Paper-based)

The completed application form, together with the application fee and the required documents should reach the Admission Office, College of International Students, SEU before June 30. Please keep the receipt of the application fee for check..
