30.04.2024. UNESCO Chairs on Sustainable Development and UNESCO Chairs on Journalism and Communication of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took part in the meeting of the National Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan for UNESCO and ISESCO. The moderator of the meeting - Secretary General of the National Commission Zhanar Shaimenova. The Chairman of the National Commission of the RK for UNESCO and ISESCO, State Counselor of the RK E. Karin opened the meeting with his speech. The work consisted of two sections: 1. Cultural Heritage and Natural Heritage, 2. Science and Education for Climate Conservation. The participants were welcomed by Amir Pirich, Head of the UNESCO Regional Office in Almaty, K. Umarov, Deputy Chairman of the National Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan for UNESCO and ISESCO, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
