Scientific  online-seminar of the Department of Theoretical and Nuclear Physics: Theme of seminar: "ENERGY PROPERTIES OF ROTATING NEUTRON STARS"

Dear Colleagues!

An online scientific seminar of the Department of Theoretical and Nuclear Physics on the Zoom platform will be held on November 6, at 12:00.

Speaker: Rayimbaev Djavlabnek Radjapbaevich.

Theme: "ENERGY PROPERTIES OF ROTATING NEUTRON STARS".

Abstract: Magnetized neutron stars being highly compact and massive objects, draw attention of many researchers as a powerful tool of testing different gravity theories in the strong-field regime as well as constraining and estimating parameters of those theories, which may help to get deeper insights into the physics of energetic processes which play a most important role around neutron stars observed as radio pulsars, anomaly X-ray pulsars and soft gamma-ray repeaters. In this PhD thesis, we have explored the effects of spacetime deformation on vacuum and plasma magnetosphere of rotating magnetized neutron stars, energetic and equipotential surfaces of charged particles around the neutron stars and got constraints on parameters of Einstein-Aether gravity using observational properties of the neutron stars. Using the obtained results we have suggested new models for physics of part-time pulsars and original mechanisms of repeating fast radio bursts.

Faculty members, researchers, PhD students and graduates of the department are invited to the online-lecture.
