The course is intended for: students of 2-4 courses and undergraduates

Course Objective: The purpose of the course is to study the basic methods and principles of statistical analysis, interpretation and visualization of the results obtained, which will be useful in solving a wide range of tasks – from data analysis to the development of new software products.

Description: As a result of mastering the course, students will know about the main methods and principles of statistical analysis, interpretation and visualization of the results obtained. Students will learn about statistical analysis methods such as variance, regression, and cluster analysis. They learn how to compare groups with each other, calculate the correlation coefficients and build the regression equation. The main focus is on mathematical ideas, intuition and logic that determine methods and calculation formulas. The studied material will be applicable for solving a wide range of problems arising in the framework of research work any direction.
