Ninomiya Takashi, visiting professor of the Far East Department of the University of Tsukuba, took part in the international conference "Mutual understanding of different cultures, ethnic groups and languages 2 through the prism of comparative typology", held at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies on March 11. This conference is being held as one of the outcomes of the project of Tsukuba University professor Toshinobu Usuyama “Comprehensive research on various ‘Easy Languages’ for social implementation”. During the conference, with the aim of developing “easy Kazakh” and “easy Russian” manuals for people with developmental disabilities in Kazakhstan, the need was identified first of all to study the general features of the languages of people with developmental disabilities, which is difficult for people to digest.
