In 2017, I was lucky to become a student at one of the best higher educational institutions of Japan at Tsukuba University. I entered the university as an exchange student thanks to the established diplomatic relations between the universities of al-Farabi KazNU and Tsukuba. My stay there was a whole academic year.

The school year was busy. This is a huge and unforgettable experience. First of all, I was able to improve my Japanese language skills and general knowledge about the land of the Rising Sun. I also made a lot of new friends from around the world, from Russia to the countries of the West and Africa. The most memorable thing for me was a trip across Japan. Exploring the country gave me a lot of new. Japan is a completely different state, with its foundations and ideals, fundamentally different from Kazakhstan and the CIS countries. Japanese culture and innovation never ceases to amaze the whole world until this day.
