Abaskan Aisulu 4 year, foreign philology,2016-2020 years

I, Abaskanova Aisulu Rysbekkyzy, 4th year student of KazNU named after Al-Farabi, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of the Far East. At the first semester of the 3rd year, I had the opportunity to go to South Korea on academic mobility. I passed a training internship at Hanguk University of Foreign Languages (Yongin, Republic of Korea) from September 3, 2018 to February 15, 2019. At the university, I attended Korean language courses for international students, along with students from other countries. Courses lasted 2 semesters of 2.5 months. I also went to university classes. To do this, at the beginning of the semester, my friends and I searched and registered for the items we needed. During my internship in South Korea, not only did my Korean language level improve, but also my English level. I have gained invaluable experience, opening up new horizons for me. Communicating with native speakers has helped me overcome the language barrier. The knowledge and skills gained during the training internship have become very useful to me. First of all, this is a wonderful opportunity to improve the language, gain new knowledge that in the future can be applied in studies and in labor activity. In addition to studying, thanks to the internship, I met a lot of friends from around the world and learned about the culture and traditions of their countries. Participation in the academic exchange program is a wonderful opportunity to see the country with your own eyes, to immerse yourself in the educational process and to feel the life of the inhabitants of this country. An internship gave me a great opportunity to develop not only my language abilities, but also my personal growth. Thanks to the program, I gained invaluable experience, gained new knowledge, met people from around the world and made very good friends. I am very grateful to our university for giving us the opportunity to undergo training internships abroad, because it gives students the opportunity to develop, to discover new horizons and set great life goals.
