In connection with the 150th anniversary of Akhmet Baitursynov, an event was held on the theme "Teacher of the nation - Akhmet Baitursynov is 150 years old." Collectives, students and undergraduates of the UNESCO Chairs in Sustainable Development took part; Soil Science, Agrochemistry and Ecology, Higher School of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, Department of Ecology. The event discussed the works of Akhmet Baitursynov, the letter "Kan Shengel", his biography and activities, an excerpt from the abakta (scene), a scientific and educational trip to the museum of Akhmet Baitursynov located in Almaty (video clip).
