From April 6 to 8, 2021, the International Conference of Students and Young Scientists "Farabi alemi"was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. In total, there were 5 sections of the program at the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management. The section "Ecology and human life safety" was attended by 23 students and young scientists.

Main goals and objectives of the conference:

1) stimulating research and educational and cognitive activities of students;

2) involvement of students and young scientists in solving scientific problems of our time;

3) disclosure of creative abilities, selection and support of the most talented and gifted students;

4) promote the formation of the intellectual potential of students.

The competition committee of the subsections "Ecology" and "Human Life Safety", having listened and considered the reports of students, decided to submit the following students for the award:

1st place

1.Shekerbekova Zhanbota Seilbekovna - Study of the current state of polymer material waste in the Republic of Kazakhstan and their processing, Scientific supervisor: Acting Professor Khazimov M. Zh.

2nd place

1. Askar Shynar Talgatovna - Studies the composition of atmospheric air of the Enterprise and develops a set of environmental measures. Scientific supervisor: candidate of chemical sciences, associate professor Toregozhina Zh.R.

2. Slamkul Indira Sapargalievna - Organization of safe Labor based on the results of the study of gas wastes in phosphate production. Scientific Supervisor: candidate of technical sciences, Acting Professor Kozhakhan A.

3rd place

1. Tokpaev Zufar Rishatovich - Potential of climate change in the category of cultivated land of Kazakhstan. Scientific supervisor: candidate of geographical sciences, associate professor Cherednichenko A.V.

2. Pazylov Shingiskhan Faizuly - Problems of Solid Waste Disposal. Scientific Supervisor: candidate of technical sciences, Acting Professor Kozhakhan A.

3. Bolat Aigerim Nurlanovna - Atmospheric air pollution of the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Scientific supervisor: Associate Professor Abdibattayeva M. M.
