On October 16, 2020, an online event "Youth and Sendai 7" was held on the occasion of the International day for disaster risk reduction. The sides discussed topical issues like disaster risk reduction (DRR) in emergency situations, the activities of UNESCO in the direction of CRP, science, etc. UNESCO Chair in Sustainable Development of al-Farabi Kazakh national University also took an active part in this event.
