A renown professor Masakatsu Murakami of the Institute of Laser Engineering (Osaka University, Japan) has visited the Faculty of Physics and Technology. At the beginning of his seminar, Professor M. Murakami spoke about the Osaka University, which is one of the largest universities in Japan founded in 1869. It is the largest state university in Japan by the number of students exceeding 22,000 persons. Professor M. Murakami acquainted the students of the faculty with the conditions of studying at the Osaka University, and also gave a lecture on laser methods for generating proton beams. The Faculty of Physics and Technology expresses its hope for further strengthening of cooperation with the Osaka University in the field of joint training of students at all levels.
