KazNU Journalism Faculty has held “round table” dedicated to the Asian Winter Olympic Games-2011 preparations. “Prim-Info creative analysis group” Agency and Moscow “Sovetnik” Journal were co-organizers of the event. Prominent journalists, sport organizations’ representatives, scientists, PR agents and students have participated.
On November 12th 2008 there was ceremonial opening of “The Days of “Kazahstanskaya pravda” festival in al-Faraby Kazakh National University. It was the first event of that kind.
Contemporary journalism is the kaleidoscope of various formats and styles. What hidden threats are awaiting future reporters in this profession? What pros and cons? How to write for a newspaper? How to begin an interview? Answers are hard to find in the classrooms. The practical experience is much needed.
On October 8th 2008 there was festival of students’ creations “Ak kaursyn” in Journalism Faculty of the KazNU. The goal of festival was to identify best students, who have succeeded during summer internship.
