Order of carrying out Olympiad

PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS

It is necessary to provide the letter signed by the rector (vice rector) about results of the first stage of the Olympiad or the solution of an academic council of the higher education institution, issued by the protocol.

All expenses connected with participation in the Olympiad (arrival, departure, food, accommodation) it is carried out at the expense of the sending party. The faculty of philosophy and political science of the Kazakh national university of Al - Farabi holds research works Republican competition of higher educational institution students of 2014 on specialties:

• § Philosophy
• § Cultural science
• § Sociology
• § Political science
• § Psychology
• § Religious studies

On competition scientific research works of students are represented

1) scientific work

2) summary of scientific work;

3) review of the research supervisor of degree independence of the performed work (in any form);

4) data about the author (authors) and research supervisor;

5) the letter signed by the rector (vice rector) about results of the first stage of competition or the solution of the Academic council of higher education institution on work promotion on competition which is made out by the protocol.

On competition of scientific research works of students the first copies of scientific works of the students, printed through one and a half intervals are represented. Research works should not be less than 20 pages. Representation of models and natural exhibits isn't allowed. Drawings enclosed to work and illustration have to be grouped on sheets of the standard size.

Acts (copy of acts) of introduction of results of scientific work, the copy of patents, scientific articles can be applied to scientific work. Degree, term papers and projects can be presented at competition if in them there is a scientific novelty or introduction of their results in production or in educational process is provided.

In the separate sealed package data on the author (authors) and on the research supervisor (heads) of work, and also the letter signed by the rector (vice rector) about results of the first round of open competition or the solution of the Academic council of higher education institution on work promotion on competition scientific research works of students are submitted. In case work is performed by a group of authors, the list of authors is submitted according to their personal contribution.

In case of representation of the works which aren't meeting the requirements, the contest committee has the right to reject these works from participation in competition.
