-Demonstrate modern scientific knowledge of cartographic and geoinformation modeling of spatial systems of various territorial ranks and classification based on the integration of knowledge of spatial modeling and geoinformatics using the methodology of modern cartography and GIS technology to increase the level of development of domestic cartography, its potential
-Interpret the knowledge system and remote sensing data of the Earth as an object of research using computer technology in the planning of scientific and applied research and educational process
-Build and apply the logical matrix of the legend in the design of cartographic works of various purposes and scales using geoinformation technologies to solve the problems of cartography, analysis and forecast of the development of mapped objects and phenomena
-Apply cartographic information and technology of digital modeling of spatial systems using software in the design of cartographic works and solving problems of regional management
-Demonstrate the use of innovative methods and promising technological trends in geoinformation cartography based on the knowledge system of spatial modeling in the planning of scientific and educational programs
-Interpret methods and techniques for characterizing factors of changes in the structure and dynamics of spatial systems based on the knowledge of their visualization for the development of predictive cartographic models of geosystems and the assessment of their environmental and socio-economic consequences for society
-Provide a comparative analysis of the methodology of local, regional, and national cartographic monitoring based on the knowledge of the advantages and disadvantages of existing global navigation satellite systems for cartography to monitor the dynamics of the state of the environment
-Update digital technologies based on the knowledge of digital mapping in the preparation of forecast maps of natural and man-made risks for making management decisions at the regional and national levels
-Apply new methodologies and technologies of spatial modeling and forecasting based on the knowledge of geoinformation mapping for the effective implementation of applied projects
-Develop programs for regional and national cartographic monitoring of the environment and ways to implement monitoring systems based on knowledge of the conceptual foundations of software in the systems ENVI, ArcGIS, ERDAS, Serfer and others for monitoring the ecological state of geosystems
-Design thematic and large-scale series of forecast maps using knowledge of spatial modeling and various sources of information for economic planning and management decision-making
-Work in a team, in a scientific team, make reasoned conclusions and convince of their rightness; demonstrate readiness for independent activity, communication with people in an official and informal setting in three languages
