Graduates of this program would result in being able to:
ON1 Critically interpret and evaluate the latest theories and concepts about the state and trends of global and local processes and current events in world politics; integrate methods and methodology of international research in accordance with the advanced science trends and practical needs
ON2 To apply studied concepts and theories at analysis of current events in the World politics; to have skills of applied analysis in issues of sustainable development, cultural interactions and integration processes in frame of research and public service.
ON3 To analyze integrative, innovative processes in the modern system of international relations, to have skills of applied analysis, theoretical and methodological synthesis, Game theory methods, scenario and analytical forecasting of the international situations in professional Expert-Analyst work.

During the study of course, students should be competent in:
- to form the relationship of classical Eurasianism with modern neo-Eurasianism;
- to analyze of the doctrine of Eurasianism NA. Nazarbayev, as a unique modern doctrine;
- Illustrate in a concentrated form the doctrine of N. Nazarbayev on the foundations of Eurasian integration;
- to compare the levels of development of the Eurasian doctrine: national-state level, regional level and global level;
- to analyze the role and place of the RK in the world integration processes, as well as the general spiritual interconnection of the Eurasian peoples.
During the study of the discipline students will learn following aspects: Theoretical and methodological basis of the Eurasian integration of the doctrine of N. Nazarbayev (Eurasianism, region, integration, principles of the Doctrine of Eurasian integration).
New approach to studying and understanding the history of Eurasia in the doctrine of N. Nazarbayev (in the context of integration processes, practical perspectives, topicality of the issues of the history of the Eurasian space). Prospects and consequences of global and regional political processes for the interests of Kazakhstan (EurAsEC, Common Economic Space, Customs Union). The role of the Eurasian idea in the modern history of Kazakhstan, its international development priorities.

During the study of course, students should be competent in:
- use the methods and methodology of international research in accordance with advanced science trends and practice requests;
- to formulate the object and subject of the conducted scientific research;
- argument of a conceptual general idea of the most important principles of possible resolution of the main problem issues related to new trends in the study of international relations and foreign policy;
- to sample scientific theories and laws for conducting international research;
- to build a system of reasoning that justifies the reliability of analytical and prognostic results.
During the study of the discipline students will learn following aspects: Theoretical and methodological basis of the methodology of research IR (clear apparatus, the principles of scientific research, the concept and essence of methods and methodology for conducting research IR). The main stages of the methodology of research are methods of analyzing the situation (observation, examination of documents, comparison). Explicit methods (content analysis, event analysis, and cognitive mapping method). Prognostic methods (conclusions by analogy, simple extrapolation method, Delphi method, scenario construction, etc., system approach, modeling, chronological series analysis, spectral analysis, computer simulation, etc.
