Upon completion of this program, it is expected that undergraduates will be able to:
1. analyze and creatively use the historical and philosophical knowledge of the development of science, the principles of organizing scientific research, ways to achieve and build scientific knowledge;
2. to compare and evaluate the principles of the development of education in Kazakhstan and countries of the world to identify strategies and values and design recommendations for the further development of education;
3. to design and implement the pedagogical process at the university based on the knowledge of didactics and the theory of higher education in the context of the credit system of education, to search for new approaches and methods to effectively solve professional problems in the field of training and education;
4. analyze and creatively apply innovative and art methods in education for personal development, strategies, teaching methods and technologies, structure the content of pedagogy and psychology when teaching in colleges and universities;
5. analyze educational, educational, research situations based on cultural-historical and activity psychology and design teaching and research activities with their account, use modern principles of synergy, integration of scientific results;

- Description: The main purpose of the discipline is to form or develop the ability to detect and prevent violations of psychological and mental health by methods of psychotherapy and psychological correction, as well as design competence to develop relevant projects and programs for the prevention of psychological and mental health of students. During the study of course, undergraduates should be competent in: - describe the main theoretical approaches and techniques of psychological impact, which are implemented in such areas of psychological assistance as psychological counseling, psychotherapy and psychocorrection; - demonstrate knowledge of the principles of building a correctional program and its implementation; - apply the methods of influence used by psychologists in practical work in counseling; - apply methods of psychocorrection and psychotherapy based on the knowledge system on the basics of psychotherapy and psychocorrection in education; - provide and evaluate psycho-corrective and psychotherapeutic assistance.The purpose of the discipline is to form a system of knowledge of the fundamentals of psychotherapy and psychocorrection in education for masterstudents; mastering the methods of influence used by psychologists in practical work in counseling, providing psychocorrectional and psychotherapeutic assistance. During the study of the discipline undergraduates will learn following aspects: - basic provisions of rendering psychological assistance; - the main theoretical approaches and technicians of a psychological influence which are implemented in such directions of psychological assistance as psychological consultation, psychotherapy and psych correction; - principles of creation of the correctional program and its implementation; - the influence methods used by psychologists in practical work at consultation; - rendering the psych correctional and psychotherapeutic help; - recommendations about psychological consultation and drawing up the correctional program.
