Upon completion of this educational program, students are expected to be able to:
ON 1 – to Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the current state of the biosphere and biogeochemical cycles, and trends in the development of scientific knowledge in the field of environmental biotechnology;
ON 2 - Interpret modern scientific knowledge in the planning and organization of independent research in the field of bioremediation and greening of modern agricultural technologies;
ON 3 - Use experimental techniques of bioindication and biotesting to control current changes in the biosphere;
ON 4 - to formulate the problems and tasks of scientific research in the field of environmental safety, to choose the appropriate methodology, to determine the stages of research, to evaluate and interpret the results;
ON 5 - Explain the features of the scientific concept of the basics of environmental biotechnology;
ON6 - Integrate knowledge of scientific theories of use into research practice;
ON7 - to Apply methodical bases of design, performance of field and laboratory biological, ecological researches, to use the modern equipment and computer complexes in researches devoted to protection of various objects of environment;
ON8 - Systematically present programs of planning, organization and practical implementation of scientific research in the field of environmental biotechnology;
ON9 – Find technological solutions to the scientific problem of disposal and utilization of industrial and household waste;
ON10 - Use the knowledge of the basics of the doctrine of the biosphere, the understanding of modern biosphere processes for the system assessment of environmental phenomena and prediction of the consequences of biotechnological projects;
ON11 - to Find technological solutions to the scientific problem of development of technology of deep processing of waste of food industry, timber industry and agriculture using the potential of photo-and heterotrophic microorganisms;
ON12 - Generate scientific knowledge in their own scientific research problems related to the protection of the environment.
