LO1. To study the sources and conceptual-operational base of religious studies in order to develop relevant approaches in the study of religious problems of our time.
LO2. To use scientific methodological and source study material, classical and postmodern developments in religious studies, bibliographic and historiographic material for the reconstruction of models of religious knowledge and the possibility of modeling domestic religious studies.
LO3. Carry out interdisciplinary research to substantiate verified, new scientific results in research of such problems as the ratio of religious and secular, religious diversity, religious pluralism, religion in the information space, dialogue and confrontation between religions, prevention of radicalism and extremism, etc.
LO4. Conduct a comparative analytical review and content - analysis of scientific religious sources, information Internet resource for critical assessment, systemic generalization of religious knowledge and its application in the scientific and educational space.
LO5. On the basis of a comprehensive analysis, classify religious trends, religious organizations, give them an objective assessment and religious expertise, if necessary.
LO6. To carry out, on the basis of the methodological principles of religious studies, an analysis of the religious and cultural landscape of Kazakhstani society, revealing the ontological possibilities of improving interfaith dialogue and consolidation.
LO7. To be able to work with scientific texts, write scientific articles for their publication in high-ranking journals with an impact factor on topical issues of religious studies and the religious sphere.
LO8. Present the obtained research results to the scientific community, the public through public speeches at conferences, dialogue and expert platforms.
LO9. To develop and use conceptual and cognitive methodologies in the study of religious literature, religious doctrines, religious ideologies in order to identify the dialogical potential in religion necessary for improving interfaith politics.
LO10. Form a scientific position devoid of subjectivity, being in scientific search and generation of ideas.
LO11. To test successful innovative techniques and practices of pedagogical psychological science in teaching religious studies, and institutionalizing religious education as a spiritual component of a secular society.
LO12. Work and communicate in a team, strive to realize scientific potential, apply knowledge in practice, promote the promotion of sustainable development ideas: preserving religious and cultural diversity and cultural identity, and be intolerant of any form of religious discrimination.
