Possess practical skills in independent conducting of quantitative and qualitative research, application of statistical methods of data analysis, qualified explanation, analysis and forecasting of modern social processes;
2. Carry out diagnostics of social, political, cultural, economic development risks and urgent problems of modern society in the context of globalization and a single information space;
3. Assess the current processes of social modernization and transformation of institutions, the development of social groups and structures, regional and urban development;
4. Apply modern information technologies and special computer programs for obtaining, processing, systematizing, analyzing and storing scientific information and the results of independent scientific research, their presentation in the form of reports and presentations;
5. Independently develop the design of their own sociological research, to determine the strategy for collecting and analyzing data, the organizational plan of scientific research;
6. Arguably present scientific problems and results at the national or international level in the form of projects, reports, articles, dissertations, demonstrating the culture of scientific writing;
7. Demonstrate scientific communication skills, establish scientific contacts with colleagues and the professional community at scientific discussions, seminars and conferences;
8. Independently solve the problems of pedagogical activity in the field of sociology, using modern educational information technologies and innovative technologies.
