Upon completion of this educational program, students are expected to be able to:
ON1 Interpret the basic concepts and laws of natural science.
ON2 Describe the patterns of functioning, state and properties of the environment and its components based on biogeochemical processes;
ON3 Use mathematical methods for processing and analyzing information on the state of the environment;
ON4 Demonstrate basic knowledge in the analysis of environmental situations of global, regional and local levels of environmental monitoring using modern methods of field and laboratory studies using physico-chemical and biological methods.
ON5 Assess the state of the environment and identify the main hazards of the human environment, the risk of their realization;
ON6 To analyze the causes of environmental problems and the impact of harmful environmental factors on living organisms and human health;
ON7 Select the necessary measures and environmental protection technologies to reduce the level of exposure to emissions of pollutants in order to achieve environmental quality standards;
ON8 Design comprehensive programs for environmental protection of production and the environment;
ON9 Summarize and describe global experience in the field of global climate change and green economy mechanisms.
ON10 Plan and manage the procedures for rationing, certification, auditing, licensing, examination, analysis of calculations of environmental risk and damage when conducting an environmental impact assessment and predicting the effects of human impacts on the ecosystem;
ON11 Choose objects and methodology of the thesis for solving problems in the field of ecology and environmental management;
ON12 To be ready to act rationally and independently, guided by the laws of social and humanitarian development of modern society, trends in the development of human and nature interactions, to find ways to stabilize social and ecological relations and form a healthy lifestyle for a person, using cultural linguistic knowledge, information and communication technologies in professional activities.
