Upon completion of this educational program, students are expected to be able to:
ON1. To work with modern geodetic instruments, to make geodetic measurements and surveys to provide data land cadastral works;
ON2. Analyze the current state, identify problems and suggest ways to improve the accounting and evaluation of land and land registration using the experience of developed countries;
ON3. Prepare an annual analytical report on quantitative and qualitative indicators to determine the land Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan and its rational use;
ON4. To carry out geobotanical, soil and landscape, reclamation studies to study the state of farmland for their qualitative accounting, to investigate erosion-hazardous and prone to soil erosion to improve the reliability of land cadastre data;
ON5. To keep records of land owners and land users, as well as other subjects of land relations for the purposes of state registration;
ON6. Carry out registration of rights to land and other real estate, operations and transactions with them; execute land and cadastral documents;
ON7.Perform works on soil valuation and land valuation (cadastral, market, for tax purposes, etc.) and perform land valuation and land registration actions in accordance with the existing legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
ON8. To carry out land monitoring to identify changes in the state of land, their assessment, forecast, prevention and elimination of the consequences of negative processes, development of recommendations;
ON9. Conduct state control over the use and protection of land to ensure compliance with land legislation for the rational use and protection of land.
ON10. To apply technology of creation and production, and also maintaining land cadastral maps, including digital for maintaining the automated information system of the state land cadastre;
ON11. To use the automated information system of the land cadastre with the use of GIS technologies, to update the database and improve the work of e-government, to be competent in the information environment, to be able to organize practical activities and make management decisions.
ON12. To determine the trajectory of further personal and professional growth in cadastral activities and related industries. To be sociable, to conduct business talks in the Kazakh and Russian languages.

- Description: The purpose of the practice is to form the ability to apply in the field in practice their knowledge and skills formed during the development of the discipline "Geodesy", as close as possible to the production conditions of land management. As a result of the internship the student will be able to: 1. use surveying tools; 2. make verification of theodolites, levels, total stations and their installation in the working position; 3. lay theodolite course; 4. make leveling; 5. perform total station survey; 6. to produce laboratory processing of field measurements; 7. make a plan, longitudinal and transverse profiles and other necessary drawings. The practice of geodesy refers to a cycle of training practices. During the practice, the following types of geodetic works will be done: verification of theodolites, levels, total stations and their installation in the working position: centering, horizonting; measurements by theodolite, level, total station; laying of the traverse along the boundary of land use and checking the admissibility of measurement errors; in excess of measurement errors, repeated measurements are made; leveling and checking the admissibility of measurement errors; surveying and manufacturing plan.
