The Academic Council of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University discussed the implementation of educational programs and social assistance to university students.

The meeting was opened by Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev, who noted the importance of the meeting held in "Gylym Ordasy" at the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the participation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek. "In the report of the Minister, which is publicly available, you will be able to find complete information about the tasks that the Head of State has set for the country's science. I think that KazNU in the new status of a research university shouldmake a significant contribution to the implementation of these strategically important goals," head of the university announced.

The report of the Member of the Board of Academic Affairs Fatima Zhakypova was devoted to the actual topic of the implementation of joint educational and two diploma programs.

The activities for the implementation of educational programs are based on regulatory documents, including the "Guidelines for the Implementation of Joint Educational Programs and Programs of Double-degree Education" (2017) and the "Concept of Modernization of Educational Programs of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University" (2021).
