Chairman of the Board-Rector of Al–Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with the President of the charitable foundation “Dauletten” Zhasulan Kuandyk. During the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between KazNU and “Dauletten”.

The charitable foundation "Dauletten" will provide financial support and material assistance to students from socially vulnerable segments of the population by awarding special scholarships, grants and prizes. In addition, charity events will be held and steps will be taken in the field of employment of young professionals.

At the meeting, the head of the university Zhanseit Tuimebayev spoke about the achievements and future plans of the university, noting that today's agreement will give impetus to the creation of new opportunities within the framework of cooperation.

In turn, the president of the charitable foundation "Dauletten" Zhasulan Kuandyk thanked the leadership of KazNU for the warm welcome and informed about future plans of the charitable foundation.

The Dauletten Foundation was created on the initiative of blogger, social activist, economist Daulet Toleutayuly and officially registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan on May 14, 2020. The main purpose of the foundation's work is to help people in need, as well as to support young people. In the future, it is planned to assign special scholarships of 100 thousand KZT to 200 students from socially vulnerable segments of the population. It will be a great help for KazNU students," the president of the charitable foundation said.

At the end of the meeting, Zhasulan Kuandyk presented a certificate for 1 million KZT for a student with excellent academic performance of the Faculty of Journalism Zhantoly Tleumbek.

Within the framework of the bilateral memorandum, the Department of Information and Communications of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University will work with the Dauletten Charitable Foundation in the future.

It should be noted that with the assistance of the charitable foundation "Dauletten" 54 low-income families across the country received housing. As a result, 372 people celebrated a housewarming party in their home.
