Professor-Director of the International Institute of Intellectual Development Jo Gyu Yun delivered a leadership lecture on the topic of "Healthy Mindset for Happy Life" at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The event was attended by the Board member – Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Fatima Zhakypova, Adviser to the Chairman of the Board of Altyn Bank Alik Shpekbayev, scientists and students.

The delegation of the International Institute of Intellectual Development was welcomed by Member of the Board-Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Fatima Zhakypova. Previously, the delegation of Professor Jo Gyu Yun has met with the Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev, the parties discussed main areas of cooperation, the achievements of this institute.

"Today we have a scientist who deals with issues of moral education and calls for development of healthy mindset. In fact, it is the strengthening of our inner world and the core. Self-disciple plays a huge role, it is designed to prevent the dishonesty and antisocial acts. Nowadays there are a lot of challenges and changes in the world, and Mr. Jo Gyu Yun will talk about how to overcome these difficulties and be an owner of this life," Alik Shpekbayev stressed.

During the leadership lecture Professor Jo Gyu Yun presented the system of thinking and lifestyle that helped to accomplish significant economic growth. The professor used the example of his country South Korea, which made an amazing leap from a poor and war-torn country to the leaders of the Asian region. The system is based on the principles of real leadership, the ability to withstand challenges, the second industrialization, export growth and one the most important aspect. "The most significant factor without which a breakthrough and prosperity is impossible, is the revival of the consciousness and spirit of the people," the speaker stressed. “The leading university of the country today ranks 150^th in the ranking of the best universities in the world, but you can reach 100^th place. And this is not the limit! If you want to live better, you can do it!” lecturer urged the audience.

Further, Professor Jo Gyu Yun supported his argument by showing short documentary about the economic development Miracle on the Han River.

At the end of the lecture the participants asked questions. The event ended with a memorable photo shoot.
