TREASURY STRENGTHENS TIES WITH JAPANESE UNIVERSITIES

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Yamada Jun paid an official visit to the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
During the meeting Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation Khaidar Tasibekov gave detailed information on the history and achievements of KazNU and shared the experience of the university with foreign partner universities.
The parties discussed the further strengthening and activation of bilateral relations between KazNU and higher education institutions in Japan.
During his visit, Ambassador Yamada Jun was introduced to the activities of the Faculty of Oriental Studies. At the department of Far East, a meeting of the guest of honor was organized with scientists and students of the university.
To date, KazNU has cooperation agreements with 28 institutions in Japan.
