Issues on the development of cooperation between British universities and KazNU, participation in joint events, as well as the possibility of sharing experiences and development of academic mobility were discussed. The parties agreed to work out a map of priority specialties and academic areas for further steps in the development of partnerships.

During the talks, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Fatima Zhakypova talked about KazNU's experience in scientific and educational interaction with foreign universities. To date over 400 international agreements on cooperation have been signed with leading universities and institutes, within which various educational programs and scientific innovation projects are successfully implemented, including the ones with universities of Great Britain.
