A republican youth forum "Men zhastarga senemin!", Dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the country's Independence and the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was held in KazNU named after Al-Farabi.

At the award ceremony, the results were summed up and the winners of the competitions of a large-scale youth forum were named, the purpose of which is to develop patriotism through the prism of innovation and creativity.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi KazNU Zhanseit Tuymebaev, Chairman of the Board of the State Center for Support of National Cinema Esetzhan Kosubaev, Chief Specialist of the Akim's Office of the Kapal Rural District of Aksu District of Almaty Region Vladimir Chepel, Excellence in Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, poet Bakhyt Zhagiparuly and youth representatives.

Opening the event, Zhanseit Tuymebaev congratulated the forum participants on their victory and expressed his best wishes. “Today, young people face great challenges. They are entrusted with a huge responsibility - to direct all their efforts and talents to the development of their native Kazakhstan. Strengthen the sovereignty of our country, preserve our language, lands and our unity. These are the most important values. Today's forum is a launching pad that supports the initiatives of student youth. The future of Kazakhstan belongs to you, educated, talented, patriotic youth, ”the rector said. Zhanseit Tuymebaev also called on everyone to sing the national anthem together.

For 9 years, the forum has become a significant creative platform for all student youth in the country. It is aimed at increasing the patriotism and civic responsibility of young people for the future of Kazakhstan, involving them in the process of modernizing public consciousness.

This year, the organizing committee received about 2 thousand entries from students from more than 100 universities from all regions of the country. Among them are both individual projects and works, and the fruits of collective creativity.

The program of the forum, which has been held since 2013, this time consisted of 8 nominations: the best student innovative socially significant project “My real contribution to the innovative development of the country”, the best environmental project “Protecting the native nature is a civic duty!”, The best poetic work “ Men zhastarga senemin! ", The best anti-corruption project" Sanaly urpaq ", the best essay" What can I do for the prosperity of my country? " and the best video "Doctor is a respected profession!"

The Grand Prix winners were awarded a certificate for 1 year of free education at Al-Farabi KazNU. One of the winners is a student of Semipalatinsk State Medical University Damir Shadibekuly. According to him, he submitted to the competition the video "Doctor is a respected profession!" and won the victory. “Today's forum provides a tremendous opportunity for young people. Thanks to the leadership of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University for organizing such a youth forum. I am very happy with my victory, ”says Damir Shadibekuly.

The event ended with a specially prepared concert program.
