In KazNU named after Al-Farabi, a solemn ceremony of opening a stele with a clock "Mangilik El" was held, timed to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This facility was built on the initiative of the Alumni Association of the Kazakh National University.

The opening ceremony was attended by Chairman of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, President of the Alumni Association Kairat Mami, Chairman of the Judicial Collegium for Criminal Cases of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan Abdrashit Zhukenov, statesman and public figure Olzhas Suleimenov, Chairman of the Board-Rector of NJSC KazNU named after Al-Farabi "Zhanseit Tuymebayev, Honorary Professor of KazNU named after Al-Farabi Saltanat Baykoshkarova, Member of the Board of Directors of KazNU Armanzhan Baytasov, patrons of the cities of Nur-Sultan and Almaty, as well as representatives of the teaching staff, doctoral students, undergraduates and university students.

Speaking during the event, the Chairman of the Board-Rector of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi Zhanseit Tuymebayev congratulated the audience on the significant day and explained in detail why the building is called "Mangilik El". Architectural objects "Mangilik El" are being erected in honor of creative achievements and achievements in the countries of the world. They also pursue the goal of forming a patriotic education. The main foundation of the object is reinforced with high four-tier columns. The height is 19.3 meters. The clockwork is a continuation of the central alley and the triumphal arch "Mangilik El", which is located at the entrance to the university from the side of Timiryazev Street.

In addition, a prominent state and public figure of Kazakhstan, Olzhas Suleimenov, who took part in the event, congratulated the audience on the opening of the stele with the clock.
