A branch of the trade union of students and undergraduates "Sunkar" of Al-Farabi KazNU was opened in the general secondary school No. 20 of the Ili district of the Almaty region. Recently, students from an organization called Zhas Sunkar visited our university and met with union members.

The school organization of self-government is guided in its work by the activities of the trade union of students and undergraduates "Sunkar". “At the school, we decided to create a self-government organization with the aim of free self-expression of students, involvement in creativity, development of organizational and leadership qualities, instilling interest in education,” said Meirkhan Bektemis, a teacher-organizer of the educational institution. - At the same time, as an example, we have chosen the student organization "Sunkar" KazNU named after Al-Farabi, which we have been observing for a long time on the social network. Our director Meiramgul Kutkeldieva is also interested in youth initiatives. We liked the various projects and activity, innovation and hard work of the union members. We want to establish close relations with the students of KazNU, ”he stressed.

The chairman of the student trade union Bakdaulet Nuridin, in turn, warmly supported the initiative of the young organization and expressed gratitude for the high assessment of the activities of "Sunkar". “In 2020, our organization became the“ Best Self-Government Organization ”in the Republic and an example for all university youth. We are very glad that now schoolchildren are showing interest in trade union work, ”he said, adding that the youth of the organization is ready to share their experience, support various initiatives of schoolchildren.

Having voiced the goals and objectives of the organization, the representatives of the trade union introduced the students to the projects "KazNU Studio", "Best Student Group", "Movie club", "Sunkar Cup", "SSP", "Bookworld", "StudentS", which are annually organized for the purpose of patriotic education, promotion of a healthy lifestyle and effective leisure time for young people.

Within the framework of cooperation, issues of strengthening ties between the university and the school, the correct choice of profession and the organization of trainings and meetings for the personal development of youth were discussed. In the future, meetings with the teaching staff are planned, aimed at increasing the cognitive abilities and scientific and educational interest of students. In addition, it is planned to organize regular excursions to KazNU for students in grades 10-11.
