Today the Chairman of the Board - Rector of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev received the Minister-Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in the city of Nur-Sultan Iman Prarahadian Khavid. Issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed at the meeting.

The head of the university acquainted the guest with the history and main milestones of cooperation between KazNU and Indonesian universities and suggested ways of its further activation. At the same time, the rector expressed interest in establishing strategic partnerships with other leading universities in Indonesia.

 He stressed the need to hold joint offline and online conferences, seminars and symposia to share best practices in the development of science, the introduction of advanced teaching methods. He also emphasized the importance of publishing materials and exchanging experience in the field of higher education, organizing joint research in priority areas of science and innovation.

The representative of the embassy, ​​in turn, especially noted the picturesque appearance of Almaty and the unique student city.

He emphasized the urgency of expanding the scope of cooperation and supported the proposals of the head of the university. He noted that the implementation of projects in the field of education, science and culture will benefit not only the academic environment, but also for the benefit of the people of Kazakhstan and Indonesia in general.
