The creation of an effective strategy for the development and management of business education in Kazakhstan is one of the key problems. The presence of a high-quality system of business education provides an opportunity for businessmen, entrepreneurs, managers not only to reproduce, but also to develop the socio-cultural capital, economy and business of Kazakhstan in conditions of uncertainty and a difficult transition period. In such conditions, the role of business schools, responsible for the training of entrepreneurial and management skills, undoubtedly increases. Today, successful business schools are separate structures at research universities, with their own team, where full-time teachers play the role of a key stakeholder, their own modern infrastructure that can serve real business.

On the eve of the anniversary year of Al-Farabi, the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University also opened its Farabi business school. The main task of the business school is to train entrepreneurs and business leaders capable of responding to the modern challenges of globalization of the world market and managing the development of a new innovative knowledge-based economy. Today the business school implements educational programs Master of Business Administration (MBA), Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), as well as professional development programs for managers. Now Farabi business school is in the process of formation. The Business School has planned a set of programs for training managers of different levels - from novice managers to managers and business owners. In the new academic year, several new author's MBA and DBA educational programs are being prepared for the start, such as personnel management, sports, education, tourism and hospitality.

The students of the 2019 MBA program were pioneers who believed in the business school program. But now our graduates boldly recommend the program, and many participants in the second and next recruitment came on the recommendation of friends and colleagues.

President K.K. Tokayeva, during his visit to Farabi business school, noted the importance of the synergistic effect of business education and consulting, which allows developing proactive management competencies of managers and entrepreneurs. The implementation of such tasks is provided by a new training format. Now Farabi business school is taught by business coaches with extensive experience in business and corporate consulting, lecturers with academic recognition.

As practice shows, in order to become an effective leader, it is not enough to have a basic university education and practical management experience. Knowledge of modern approaches to business management, the ability to model possible development scenarios and generate new ideas for effective business process management are required. In other words, the modern leader needs a managerial business education.
