At the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, a ceremonial presentation of diplomas was held with the participation of the leadership, teachers and graduates of the university, who for the first time received a new diploma. The festive event summed up the results of studying at the university, giving a start in life to specialists from different professional fields.

This year, 6,600 students graduated from the country's leading university, of which 4,798 were bachelors, and 1,611 graduates received the title of masters of science.

The solemn meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Board-Rector of the Al-Farabi KazNU Zhanseit Tuimebayev. In his welcoming speech, addressing the youth who completed their studies on the eve of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the rector of the university cited the winged words of Elbasy as an example. “If you are the son of the country, you have a civic honor, work, straining all your mental strength to contribute to the strengthening and prosperity of the Kazakh independent state. Do not forget that you are the owner of both the land and the country! " Thus, the First President expressed great confidence to all citizens, especially young people.

The head of state, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, also noted: “The wise thinker of our people, Abai, with all his heart wants the Kazakhs to study, develop and improve. “Don't brag about science,” he said. “Until you master the knowledge, you will not begin to conquer the heights” - these conclusions are very relevant now, and our task is not only to go forward, but also to take a leading position.

The rector also noted that the educational institution, which was included in the Top-200 of the best universities in the world, annually develops new, high levels and educates intellectual youth.

At the ceremony, which took place online, the head of the university, after congratulating them, presented diplomas to the best graduates. And they, in turn, proudly noted that the diploma of KazNU is a great achievement, and stated that they will actively work on the development of our state and society. In conclusion, they thanked the leadership of the university and teachers for quality education and decent upbringing.
