US STUDENTS TRAIN ACADEMIC MOBILITY PROGRAM

Thirteen American students were admitted to study at KazNU named after Al-Farabi under the program "Russian language, international relations and diplomacy." The order on the enrollment of students was signed by the Chairman of the Board-Rector of KazNU Zhanseit Tuimebayev.

The exchange of students within the framework of academic mobility contributes to the development of bilateral relations in the field of science and education between Kazakhstan and the United States. This program is carried out within the framework of an agreement between Al-Farabi KazNU and the American Center for Education and Research. US students will study online at the Faculty of International Relations.

To date, KazNU has established close partnerships with more than 460 higher educational institutions and organizations in Western and Eastern Europe, North America, Asia and the Pacific region.

In connection with the transformation of KazNU into a research university, in the process of establishing cooperation, the priority is high-ranking universities, focused mainly on scientific research.

Over the past five years, 2,500 undergraduate and 5,000 undergraduate students of the university have been trained and trained abroad. Also, within the framework of inter-university cooperation agreements, 1,900 doctoral students carried out research work with foreign scientific leaders in Europe, North America, Asia, Turkey, etc.

Last year, under the bachelor's, master's and doctoral PhD programs at KazNU named after Al-Farabi trained 1,946 foreign students from China, India, South Korea, Turkey, Japan, USA, Spain, Hungary, Iran, Italy, Brazil, Afghanistan, Great Britain, France, Mongolia, Turkmenistan, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, etc. In addition, 456 foreign citizens took language courses at the preparatory faculty of the university. Also, 77 students from different universities of the world studied in the framework of academic mobility and 29 students from foreign universities successfully completed research internships at KazNU.

The international activity of the university is aimed at integration into the world educational and scientific community. This work is carried out within the framework of cooperation programs with leading foreign universities, exchange of scientists and teaching staff, implementation of international educational programs and projects.
