Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education - The ranking determined the best multidisciplinary universities in 2021. Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is in the lead in this ranking, in the category of multidisciplinary universities of the country.

This rating is formed on the basis of an analysis of academic statistics, expert assessments and a survey of employers. KazNU scored the maximum points in all evaluated indicators and once again demonstrated the high competitiveness of the university.

The IQAA Ranking is carried out on the basis of a methodology approved by international experts in the field of higher education at the conferences of the International Observatory on Academic Rankings and Excellence (IREG) in Shanghai and Bratislava. It was also published in the scientific journals "Higher Education in Europe" (London) and "Journal of Higher Education" (Shanghai).

National Institutional Ranking - IQAA Ranking allows Kazakhstani universities to determine their positions, assess the level of competitiveness of educational services, promote high-quality work of the university, and most importantly, attract more students and expand the scope of attractiveness for employers.
