Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, by a large margin from Kazakhstani universities, took a leading position in the national ranking of demanded higher education institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR), accredited by the Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence (IREG), has summed up the results of the national ranking of demand for universities in Kazakhstan -2021 and identified the best universities in Kazakhstan. The rating was headed by the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, gaining the highest number of points. This testifies to the attractiveness and competitiveness of KazNU in the educational services market.

Based on priority indicators and a multifactorial rating methodology, the IAAR allows Kazakhstani universities to assess the level of their demand for educational programs, to contribute to the high-quality work of the university, and most importantly, to attract talented applicants and expand the scope of the university's attractiveness for employers and business representatives.

It should be noted that the unique digital technology of the IAAR national rating has received European recognition and makes it possible to form ratings of more than 2 thousand educational programs and universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This stimulates universities to improve the effectiveness of their activities and contributes to the growth of the export potential of educational services, and the rating itself is a guideline for students in choosing the further direction of personal development and professional growth.
