4th year students of the specialty mechanics of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University passed pedagogical practice at the "Republican Physics and Mathematics School" from 01/18/2021 to 02/06/2021 in accordance with the curriculum.

In accordance with the specialty, 52 trainee students were divided into the departments of "Mathematics" and "Physics". Each student chose one of these two subjects. They first attended online lessons in selected subjects and then conducted online lessons themselves.

Before the practice, students had many questions: "How will I teach children?" , "How do we conduct online lessons?", "How to involve students in the online learning process?" and skeptical thoughts prevailed.

During a four-week pedagogical practice, experienced teachers of the Republican Physics and Mathematics School taught students the professional secrets of teaching. From the Department of Mechanics, pedagogical practice was led by Ph.D., Associate Professor A.K. Tulepbergenov.

The online practice was successful.
