An online presentation of the book «The role of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the constitutional construction of independent Kazakhstan: lessons of Elbasy» will be held on July 1, 2020, at 11.00 a.m.

The event is organized by the Constitutional Council and the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation.

The book is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayev and was published as part of the National action plan for organizing and holding the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The publication reveals the process of creating the Constitution of the Republic under the leadership of Elbasy, further approval and development of constitutional values in the country. Elbasy's colleagues share their opinions about the historical stages and achievements on the way to strengthen the new Kazakh statehood under the leadership of the First President of the Republic. The book is accompanied by practical materials from the speeches of the Leader of the Nation, meetings of state bodies and other discussion platforms where the main directions of constitutional policy were discussed.

The book is intended for politicians of the new generation, scientists-historians, political scientists, lawyers who study the Kazakh experience of constitutional construction.
