Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has once again confirmed its leadership position. It took first place in the National Ranking of the Best HEIs of Kazakhstan-2020 (IQAA-Ranking), by a significant margin ahead of other multidisciplinary universities.

The University has been taking the leading position in the national ranking for more than 10 years, successfully advancing in international rankings QS WUR, QS by Subject, ARES and others, thus confirming its competitiveness in the global scientific and educational space.

The national rating IQAA-Ranking is based on multivariate international standards of ranking of higher education institutions, which are approved by experts of the International Rating and Excellence Observatory (IREG). Al-Farabi KazNU was highly evaluated by all parameters reflecting a wide range of scientific and educational activities of the University, as well as experts and employers.
