Al-Farabi KazNU successfully implements the project «100 Books», aimed at the formation of important moral and spiritual landmarks for students, introducing them to literature and reading. During its implementation, the University has developed good traditions of conducting creative meetings with famous writers and poets.

The Department of Kazakh Literature and Literature Theory of the Faculty of Philology and World Languages of KazNU, jointly with M.O. Auezov Institute of Literature and Art, in the framework of the «100 Books» project, will conduct an online meeting with the Chairman of the Eurasian Writers Union, a member of the European Academy of Sciences, Arts and Literature, a teacher of the University of Gazi, writer Yakup Umeroglu.

The online event entitled «International Literary Communication and Cultural Diplomacy» will be attended by employees of the Institute, teachers, students of Bachelor and Master degrees and doctoral students of KazNU. During the online communication, issues of the development of world and Kazakh literature in the modern cultural space, as well as the problems of creative integration and instilling students with an interest in reading will be discussed.
