Republican competition, organized by Al-Farabi KazNU, has been a significant platform throughout the country for eight years. The competition is aimed at the development of patriotism, civic responsibility, intellectual and creative potential of youth.

Traditionally, the competition program includes nominations for the best student innovative project and start-up on the topic «My real contribution to the innovative development of the country», and the social project «Qayirymdy Qogam», as well as the best essay contest «What can I do for the prosperity of the Homeland», and poetic work and song contest on a patriotic theme.

The first qualifying round will be held remotely from 10 to 30 April this year. After online registration, participants should send video and their work in electronic form to the organizing committee. Participation in the competition is a great opportunity for students to prove themselves, share their socially significant initiatives and creative projects. Based on the results of the remote qualifying round, the participants who qualified for the final will be determined. The videos and creative works of the finalists are planned to be posted on social networks, where anyone can vote for their favorite work.

As Vice-Rector Sholpan Dzhamanbalaeva said, annually over 2 thousand applications from students from all regions of the country are received by the organizing committee. The final of the competition will be held as part of the VIII forum «Men Zhastarga Senemіn!» in November 2020 at Al-Farabi KazNU. Participants will have the opportunity to present and defend their projects at meetings of thematic sections.

An independent jury will provide an objective assessment of the work of the contest participants. It will include authoritative experts – public figures, representatives of science, culture and art, business, government agencies and the media. The competent jury will determine the best works at each stage - from the remote qualifying round to the final competition in Almaty.

Winners will be awarded with diplomas and valuable prizes. The best of the best will receive the main prize – Al-Farabi KazNU’s grant for a year of tuition free education. According to the results of online voting, a prize of audience sympathy will also be awarded.
