The photo exhibition «Kieli Altai», dedicated to the state program «Rukhani Zhangiru» was opened at Al-Farabi KazNU. It was organized by the Faculty of Journalism and the public association «PhotoOner». The photo exhibition was opened by the Chairman of the public association «Photo Oner» Asylkhan Abdraimuly, Dean of the Faculty of Journalism Sagatbek Medeubekuly, Chairman of the «Altai» Ethno-Photographic Society of the People’s Republic of China Serik Mukushuly, member of the «Altai» ethno-photographic society of the People’s Republic of China Ekpin Khasenzhan and professional photographer Ongarbek Alkharov.

The event was held in the lobby of the administration of KazNU, where the works of young authors from all over the country were presented. Among them were not only professional photographers, but also young artists from among the youth. Each picture has its own peculiarity, beauty and craftsmanship. In his speech, the Head of the Association Asylkhan Abdrayim noted that «One photograph is equal to thousands of words». «In fact, photographs can speak and convey accurate information. Each of them will tell about nature, culture, literature, the history of the Earth».

It should be noted that this year young photographers of the country participated in the photo blog tour «Kieli Altai: Berel-2019», which took place in the Katon-Karagai district of the East Kazakhstan region. The event was held with the support of the Republican public association «PhotoOner», the media holding Shygys Akparat, the state historical and cultural reserve-museum «Berel». The results of this trip were summed up at KazNU. This exhibition will be held during the week and continued in the cities of Semey and Ust-Kamenogorsk.

At the end of the photo exhibition, a master class on the topic «Pictures speak» was held at the Faculty of Journalism of KazNU with the participation of the Chairman of the «Altai» ethno-photographic society of the PRC, master of photography Serik Mukushuly, who was among the top 10 photographers in the world in 2018.
