Presentation of the book «Introduction to Etymology» by Olzhas Suleimenov was held at the Faculty of Philology and World Languages of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The Book consists of several parts, which suggest an etymological study of a number of words and one can read it by reproducing graphic images based on materials of native and non-native languages. In general, the Book attracts reader’s interest in Etymology, which is very important for people who study the history of the language. At the same time, this affects not only the development of Etymology, but also introduces novelty in the field of Historiography, Cultural Studies, and Geography. The Book is useful for students, undergraduates and doctoral students, teachers and linguists.
