Can you dance in Korean style? An unusual Korean dance contest was held among learners of Korean Studies

The Department of Korean studies is famous not only for scientific achievements. Here among students holding a popular competition of Korean modern dance. Not by chance, almost 90% of all students of the Department of Korean studies came to Department of the Far East due to the popularity of Korean TV shows and music. The judges were teachers from Korea Lee Jung Hye, Choi Ji Young. The students danced with enthusiasm and with desire to imitate Korean actors from TV shows. And many of them have succeeded.

The Department of Korean Studies has foreign teachers from Korea. Masters of Korean language, who have received education in South Korea, came to work in Kazakhstan. At the Department of the Far East have a large amount of such teachers. They organize a theater group and a Korean choir. And in 2019, the Department is planning to organize a dance marathon among all learners of Korean studies.

At the competition which held last week, were selected the best. Students of Korean studies know how to dance in Korean style!
